As the time is getting closer and closer to Christ's return, the devil is busier and busier "sneaking" and now even blatantly putting his messages and agendas in most of the entertainment that so many of us church folk hold so dear. This is the place where lyrics, movie scenes, quotes from books, actors, actresses, politicians and other celebrated people alive or dead can be exposed. I know, I know, not Michael Jackson, but as it says in John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." As believers, we are so used to accepting the ways of the world that even though we may even have an inkling of knowledge about many of our favorite artists who BOLDLY represent darkness we continue delighting in their ability to entertain, mystify and create a variety of emotions within us. According to Pastor G. Craige Lewis, of the Truth Behind Hip Hop V, Michael Jackson was one of the greatest channelers of demonic spirits that the music industry has ever known. Songs of his (and other artists work that we have been deceived to believe are innocent) that we have sang for years often repeating them over and over are laced with blasphemous lyrics that a number of us don't even notice. I thank the LORD for Lewis and the other ministers in EXMinistries for exposing the devil and his agenda to be worshipped. One example of some of the knowledge he is bringing to those of us who are bound by entertainment is a portion of the lyrics in the eighties hit song "We are the World." Written, produced and arranged by Michael Jackson (who wrote the lyric that is being exposed), Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie, the song was originally recorded by artists from the U.S. to aid the famine crisis in the African nation of Ethiopia. Most of us who were coming of age during that era can remember line for line and verse for verse the lyrics to the song, especially the part by Willie Nelson: "As god has shown us by turning stones to bread." Now if you are like me, you can't count how many times you blindly sang this very line and never caught the blatant blasphemy in it. In Matthew 4:3 it says, "The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread." We can praise God that in the fourth verse of the same book and chapter, "Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'
As Pastor Lewis points out, had Christ gave in to temptation from the temptor and turned the stones into bread there would be no hope for any of us. We would be lost physically, mentally and most of all spiritually damned for all of eternity separated from God. Let's put our trust in him instead of our favorite entertainers. Entertainers are in need of the LORD just like we are, let's pray for them instead of giving them the "go" sign by buying their records, practically worshipping them, thus making them think they are okay. Unfortunately, for MIchael Jackson, we the church, a supposed body of believers pimped him until he more than likely died without Christ.

Blatant Blasphemy Blast-Thursday, August 12, 2010-Birdman's worldly gain--"what will it profit you to gain the world and lose your soul?" Mark 8:36

Look at the new "toy" Mr. "Birdman" Williams got for bowing down and worshipping the god of this world(Matthew 4:9), Gee whiz Mr. Williams you sure deserve such a reward for contributing to the destruction of our homes, children and communities. SMH.
Is that a five point pentagram atop 'Birdman's' head? SMH.
The five point pentagram is a symbol commonly associated with witchcraft and other pagan practices. Yet, how many so-called Christians have this man and other artists music blasting on their iPods, car and house stereos (I know I did)? "Artists"(not just hip hop either), like Mr. "Birdman" who openly represent the antichrist agenda. No wonder many of us along with our children are so spiritually bound in darkness. Time to wake up, get in that word and expose that devil for the deceiver he is.

Not that Britney is as popular as she was in the late nineties and early 2000s, but she does have a following of impressionable fans younger and older who listen to her music regularly. Among these listeners are those who proclaim Christ as their Lord and Savior. So for that reason I have to put her on BBB just to show you how subtly and not so subtly that devil sneaks his evil into the music that a lot of us can't let go of. Just check out a portion of the "innocent" lyrics from Spears song, "If you seek Amy"

Blatant Blasphemy Blast-August 23, 2010--And Jesus can't what?

I am guilty. As I have confessed many a time, most of my life has been spent being a major music fiend. Throughout my ?1 years I have listened to, bought, memorized and blindly sang lyric after lyric after lyric of nearly every song and music genre that I embraced. Like I told my sister and mom during a Sunday lunch outing, "my mind is an iPod." Meaning, I have so much music in my head(subconsciously) that there are times when seemingly "out of the blue" one of those tracks will just "pop" into my head. It is for this reason that I am thankful for bondage breaking ministries like EXMinistries. Ever since I was introduced to them, I have been inspired to share what I have learned with other believers who struggle with letting go of their secular music addiction. Anyway, let's cut to the chase, I know this is a bit of old news, but the issue of Jay-Z, his freemasonry ties and how his satanic affliations are connected to his music from his "H to the IZ O V to the IZ A" declaration that he is Jay-Hova God MC to his downright blasphemous assertion in his track "Empire State of Mind."
Before going any further, I have to keep it real, before waking up out of this darkness called "hip hop music" (still struggling with it actually, so pray for me you all), I BUMPED this very song in my car way too much to even count. That is, until someone pointed out what Mr. Carter was actually saying on the track. Here are a portion of the lyrics.
"Hail Mary to the city you're a Virgin,
and JESUS CAN'T SAVE YOU LIFE STARTS WHEN THE CHURCH ENDS,
came here for school, graduated to the high life,
ball players, rap stars, addicted to the limelight,
M.D.M.A got you feeling like a champion,
the city never sleeps better slip you a Ambien."
YES, you read it correctly and if you are like me you probably bobbed your head to it and sang it too. What was even worse was that I was so addicted to this song that I continued even listening to it with full knowledge of it's defiled contents, that is, until the Lord just stopped me, made me think and take a stand. God or Baal? It's so safe to say that I took one and have denounced the music of Mr. Carter (and others whose music promotes worship of false gods, greediness, violence, promiscuity and every other thing that God hates) for life. No longer can I just be quiet about my Jesus being disrespected when He suffered the weight of the world on that cross just to give me lfie. He even did this for Mr. Sean Carter (Jay-Z's real name). And to think that he would betray the Lord by denying the truth for a few pieces of silver not realizing that in the process he is in danger of losing his blasphemous soul.
P.S. Jay-Z, if you are reading this you need Jesus. I am praying that you will turn your life around before it is too late.
